Description
Amiqqaq anxiously awaits the return of his father’s whaling crew. When the whaling captain catches a bowhead whale, he brings him the family flag to begin the traditional Inupiq whaling feast. The village is filled with whale happiness, but Amiqqaq wonders, “What happens to the spirit-of-the-whale?”
