Description
Plants of Western Boreal Forest Alaska to Minnesota Boreal and Aspen Parkland – generally speaking – is a field guide for western Canada and for Alaska.
The plants are organized by color-coded general sections, including trees, shrubs, and lichens.
Within these general sections, the plants are grouped by species or family, so that those plants which might be confused are close to each other in the guide for easy comparison.
The focus of the book is on those plants found throughout the western boreal bioregion, so locations of plants are described by the type of environment in which they are found, rather than in which state or country they may be found.
