Description
A sequel to Julie of the Wolves, this book follows Julie back to her Eskimo village, to which she returns after living in the wilderness among the wolves.
Julie returns to find traditions have changed–modern technology has been incorporated into village life.
Moreover, Julie learns that her father, who now protects the village’s musk oxen, is killing any wolves which threaten the herd.
Julie must decide between accepting these changes among the people she loves and protecting the animals to which she holds some loyalty.
