Description
Wilderness / A Journal of Quiet Adventure in Alaska is a re-issue of the journal of well-known graphic artist Rockwell Kent, who spent seven months with his nine-year-old son in a primitive cabin on Fox Island, near Seward, Alaska. Wilderness is illustrated with Kent’s drawings and woodcuts. This edition, with a foreword by Seward writer and teacher Doug Capra, includes previously unpublished passages of the journal.
