This book is a collection of more than 100 fascinating photos culled from the collection of Jasper N. Wyman, a bold entrepreneur whose Galesburg-Alaska Mining and Development Company came to Alaska in 1898. Eighteen months later he established a large ranching operation in Colorado, having failed financially in Alaska. Fortunately for us he had brought back from Alaska this invaluable photographic legacy.
