The story of the Klondike’s Gold Dredge #4 and those who operated it is chronicled here, with historical photos ranging dating from the early days of placer mining in the late 1800s to the old, partially-sunken dredge’s re-floating and restoration as a Canadian historic site, completed in 1993. Many personal reminiscences and photos are included from the men and women who journeyed to the Dawson City area to mine for gold or to cook, teach, work in offices or maintain and operate equipment.
